How to use this calculator
Start with your rental days and boat size. Picking a boat size fills in an estimated daily rate — $350 for a boat that sleeps 6, $400 for one that sleeps 8, or $550 for one that sleeps 12 — but the rate is fully editable, so type in your actual quote if you have one.
Next, choose your season. Marinas charge more in summer and holidays and discount the off-season, so pick peak (×1.25), regular (×1.0), or off-peak (×0.9). Then enter your fuel estimate — fuel is usually billed separately — and tick the boxes for a skipper or cleaning fee if they apply.

How it works
The math is straightforward. Base rental = rental days × daily rate × season multiplier. For example, 4 days × $400/day × 1.0 (regular season) = $1,600. Then we add your fuel estimate, skipper cost (days × skipper daily rate) if selected, and cleaning fee if selected to get the subtotal.
Taxes and fees = subtotal × your tax percentage, and the estimated total = subtotal + taxes and fees. The damage deposit is shown separately: due at pickup = total + deposit, because you need the cash available even though the deposit comes back to you. All rates and multipliers here are estimates for budgeting, not quotes — real prices vary widely by marina and season.
