How to use this calculator

If your birthday already passed this year, the countdown rolls forward to next year automatically. February 29 birthdays are counted to February 28 in non-leap years.

How this is calculated

Find the next occurrence of the entered month/day on or after today; days until = that date − today; weekday from the calendar. If the date already passed this year, it rolls to next year. Uses your browser's local date.

Worked example

today October 23, 2026, birthday December 25 → next occurrence December 25, 2026 → 63 days away, a Friday.
